My wife had been invited to a Paul McGee talk by her employer. I was off work with acute clinical depression and tagged along, expecting to make a few sarcastic comments about the the rubbish I would hear. WRONG! Paul introduced his T-shirts and I was shocked to realise that they just about all fit me perfectly. You can't fix a fault if you can't first accept that there is a problem....Paul showed me that I had a problem and gave a strategy to start solving it. I walked out of that room feeling several inched taller than when I went in. It took a few months, but I managed to climb out of my depression and have never looked back. I don't even fear my "pit" any more. I managed to fill it in under my feet and simply walk away when I reached the top. It's a few years ago now but I will never forget. Thanks Paul.

Dear Paul I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your presentation at the = Showcase cinema for Merseyside police last week. I am a Crime Scene Investigator yes a CSI! - a real one! and I have to = say you came as a God send in a pertinent moment in my life. You gave = me the confidence and encouragement to go forward after the breakdown of = my marriage and dealing with a horrific incident at work. I went home that night and sat down with my children 12 and 13 - funny = names! And told them about your presentation, went on the website and = pulled together as a family through what is a tough time for them too. = They too gained so much which meant the world to me.
